Our regular show full of games, longform, laughs, and queer stories. Our large cast allows for endless combinations of hosts and casts, making every night at QP different from the last. Good times guaranteed!
Always-fun (and gloriously competitive). You, the audience member, determine the winner of each round of games and find the winner of the coveted, delicious fruit cup! Bring your game face!
Come to a workshop at Tightrope Theatre for laughs and essential improv practice! Led by a member of our smart, funny education team every week. $10 or pay what you can (no one turned away for lack of funds).
QueerProv is no stranger to theatre, drag, standup, and cabaret mixers. Shows we've done have been the following:
We bring in guest troupes from the city and enjoy some friendly competition for who is the most fabulous! Previous guests have been Arms Akimbo, The Radical, Quad Comedy, Wolves, Hocus Focus, Brrammo, and Lake Pesto.
Yup, we've had drag queens join us in improvised silliness. There's makeup, dance numbers, scenes, and a lot of cross dressing.
Working with the fabulous duo Jennifer Pielak and Peter Abando, we've constructed improvised musicals. Well, la dee dah!
In April 2019, David Borja put on a prepared retro dance music cabaret featuring other QP talent and few guests from Vancouver's musical theatre community. You can read a bit about the show here.
Junction is a 19+ venue, please bring government-issued photo ID.
